Ruzizi Tented Lodge overview
Nestled under a forest of huge palms and fig trees on the Lake Ihema shoreline inside the national park, Ruzizi is ideally positioned to take advantage of all activities on offer in Akagera National Park.
Ruzizi is a fully-catered luxury eco-lodge featuring nine tented chalets (canvas walls and concrete bathroom area on concrete bases). Each spacious tent has an ensuite bathroom and a shaded verandah sitting area. Families and honeymoon couples are also catered for. Elevated wooden walkways wind through the enormous trees to connect all units and the central area. The thatched central area includes a lounge, dining area, shop, bar, and separate spa, and there is a large wooden deck with a fire pit and magnificent views over the lake.
